X-Ray Examination – Advanced Diagnostics for Accurate Results
X-ray imaging remains an invaluable diagnostic tool, offering essential insights into heart, lung, digestive, and urinary tract diseases. For skeletal evaluations—whether assessing fractures, degenerative changes, growth abnormalities, or congenital malformations—X-rays are still the preferred method.
Since introducing our digital radiography system in 2010, we’ve been able to provide the most advanced technology in radiology. Our digital imaging system allows us to take multiple images in quick succession without changing cassettes, significantly reducing the time your pet spends on the X-ray table.
Compared to CT and MRI scans, X-rays have the advantage of generally not requiring anesthesia. This allows pet owners to stay with their pets during the examination—if no medical reasons prevent it—helping to keep them calm and comfortable. This relaxed setting enables us to quickly obtain often critical information that can inform treatment decisions within minutes.
